It is situated in the Agrabad area of Chittagong metropolitan city and can be reached by any kind of vehicles from the nearby airport, railway station and bus station. Facing south, the museum building has ten galleries arranged in east-west long parallel lines pierced by a north-south long hallroom with ingress in its south. On crossing the ingress, one can collect a ticket by paying the entrance fee (Tk.1.00 for a child of below twelve and Tk. 2.00 for an adult). Thereafter he can visit the exhibits of the galleries with a beginning from his left. |

The display has been arranged with models and objects of every-day life in the frames of showcases and dioramas. Besides, illustrations have been made by a short Introductory Note to the museum, a Sub-introductory Note to each showcase and a caption to each kind of object. The museum also has some photographs, paintings and maps interspersed at corners. |
